Javier Cruz is a multidisciplinary creative technologist, composer, and visual artist with over a decade of experience crafting immersive audiovisual and experiential works. At Volvox Labs, he specializes in new media production and electronic sound design, using real-time and interactive technologies to create engaging digital environments and push the boundaries of contemporary storytelling. His music has been featured across branded campaigns and streaming content, while his visual art and creative programming have been presented on international platforms.

In parallel with his studio practice, Cruz serves as Thesis Lead for the SVA MFA Computer Arts program, where he mentors experimental artists and guides ambitious, technology-driven thesis projects. Across all disciplines, his work is driven by a commitment to merging technology and creativity to foster innovation, emotional resonance, and visionary artistry.
